Hike upon the Ice Age Trail segment

of Devil's Lake State Park

We walked the Sauk Point Trail from Solum Road through upland forest, down the bluff, and then into Wisconsin's first designated

state natural area, Parfrey's Glen,

before retracing our steps back to the vehicles.

It was an epic adventure as the temperature began to rise through the afternoon. The beer and brats tasted extra good as we sat around the campfire that night listening to our local musicians jamming under the hazy stars.
