Honey Creek Preserve

Our hike took place on May 4th due to rain

and snow on the previous Saturday

We met at the Cox Nature Center

(check the link for preserve info)

Here are some of the many great shots from our hike across creeks, through deep forests of Hemlock, and up to Harold Kruse's original hilltop vantage point where he first looked all around and decided that this natural beauty should be protected.....and we benefited from his foresight on this sunny Saturday some 80 years after this local farm kid took a walk with his dog.
