Bird City Baraboo

2016 Inaugural Dedication

Bird City Wisconsin point man Dr. Bryan Lenz presented Mayor Mike Palm with an official plaque recognizing Baraboo as the 93rd program designee. Over fifty people attended the ribbon cutting celebrating the city's new arboretum within the Maxwell Potter Conservancy. Most of the folks played a role in developing this addition to our urban green spaces. George Archibald, founder of the International Crane Foundation just north of town, addressed the gathering with a message of bird conservation right where we live and work.
